Control via App for Android and iOS
With the Ecovacs Deebot M88, floor cleaning gets even more comfortable. As, due to the Ecovacs App you can easily control the vacuum and floor mopping robot via Smartphone or Tablet. Over the App one can choose the cleaning way or mode, check the status of cleaning or move the robot to a certain location. The App is available for Android and iOS.
Vacuum and Mop – All in One
In only one cleaning process the Deebot M88 vacuums AND mops. On the bottom side of the robot cleaner hybrid there can be mounted a water tank with a Microfiber pad. Though a permanent moistening the floor is swept, vacuumed, mopped and dried in only one cleaning process.
Cleaning Floors, Edges and Corners
In simulating a human cleaning pattern, the Smart Move Technology helps the Ecovacs Deebot M88 to thoroughly remove even stubborn kind of pollution. The Deebot cleans carpets and various hard floors (tiles, laminate, parquet, etc.). With long side brushes it removes dirt and dust in edges and corners.
Vacuum and Floor Mopping Robot for Pet Owners
Due to the interchangeable suction options the Deebot M88 is suitable for households with cats or dogs. For an intensive cleaning it is recommended to use the main brush. To remove pet hair and other pollution one should prefer the direct suction option - to avoid tangling of hair in the main brush.
Maximum Suction Power
The MAX Mode enables the Deebot an even stronger suction power, by improving it to a maximum. Therefore it reliably removes dirt, dust and pet hair.

Time Programming
The Deebot M88 can be programmed to start cleaning each day at a pre-programmed time. Afterwards, it independently returns to the charging station.
Automatic Charging Process
When battery is low the Deebot automatically returns to its charging station to start charging. When charging is completed, it is ready for the next cleaning cycle.
Ecovacs Recognizes Stairs and Furniture
Thanks to integrated sensors the Ecovacs Deebot M88 recognizes abysses and obstacles (like stairs, furniture, etc.). Therefore it is able to adjust its cleaning way.
Different Cleaning Modes
For a thorough floor cleaning there can be chosen between different cleaning modes:
- Auto Mode
- Spot Mode
- Single Room Mode
- Edge and Wall Cleaning
Control with the Remote
The Deebot M88 can comfortably be controlled, started, stopped and programmed with the remote control.

- Smartphone-Affine people (App control)
This Deebot is less suitable for:
- households bigger than 150 m2 (and cannot be split up)

It's doing an amazing job hovering the floor and a carpet. I didn't try the mop yet, but I think it will be great too. I only regret I didn't order such robot few years ago, would save me lots of time. It also keeps kids busy as they were watching the robot moving around the room :)
