The Husqvarna Automower 315X: The ideal helper on demanding lawns
The robot lawn mower has been developed for areas up to 1.600 m2. With a high-performance lithium-ion battery, it is able to cope with slopes up to ±40% (22°), making it particularly suitable for off-road use and for particularly hilly sites. The robotic lawn mower works very efficiently thanks to its ECO mode and is extremely quiet at work with a volume of only 60dB.
Husqvarna X-models: Elegant design and high functionality
The Husqvarna Automower 315X is the smallest of the Husqvarna X series. All models in this line offer premium features as well as a particularly appealing design:
- Standard integrated Automower Connect module for control via app
- GPS-based navigation
- Orange-painted wheel covers, rubber bumper and less glossy surfaces
- LED headlights
From September 2018, all Husqvarna Models with the Automower Connect Module will be compatible with Amazon Alexa.
Excellent handling of narrow passages
The Husqvarna 315X automatically detects narrow passages and corridors and adjusts its navigation accordingly to optimally traverse the passage.
Definable entry points for optimal processing of adjacent areas
You can define up to three entry points for the robotic lawn mower. The robot mower thus begins its work regularly and reliably, even in remote areas of the garden and adjacent areas that are difficult to access. A consistently uniform cutting pattern is guaranteed.
Optimal cutting pattern thanks to GPS-based navigation
It's not just the automatic pass control and the remote start function that ensure an accurate cutting pattern. Thanks to GPS-supported navigation, the robot lawn mower moves across the surface in such a way that all areas of the garden are processed evenly.

Automatic adjustment of the mowing frequency
The Husqvarna Automower 315X has a weather timer that allows it to automatically adjust its mowing frequency to grass growth: in rainy weather when grass grows quicker, it launches itself more frequently, reducing its frequency during dry periods. Your lawn gets exactly the care it needs in the moment.
Green and healthy lawn thanks to the mulch function
The lawn robot cuts the grass with three sharp blades mounted on a rotating band. The cutting height can be continuously adjusted between 20 and 60 mm. Mowing produces fine grass clippings that fall to the ground as a mulch. This serves as a moisturiser and natural fertiliser. The lawn becomes lush green, healthy and dense.

The Husqvarna can be 315X controlled and programmed on the control panel or via the app. This also makes it easy to define a mowing plan for the robot lawnmower, which it sticks to reliably and fully automatically. When the battery level is low or after mowing, the robotic lawn mower returns to the charging station to recharge. The Husqvarna Automower 315X has three navigation options for returning to the charging station. Thus it finds its way back quickly and efficiently, from any point in the garden.
Husqvarna Automower 315X: Safe operation
For maximum safety, the robot mower is equipped with obstacle, lifting and inclination sensors. A PIN code and an alarm feature are intended to protect the lawn robot from theft and from being put into operation by unauthorised persons.
Replaceable cover
It is possible to customise the Husqvarna Automower robot lawn mower. The housing of the robotic lawn mower is removable and can be easily replaced.

The Husqvarna Automower 315X comes from the factory without the accessories (such as cables, mounting hooks, cable connectors, etc.) required to install the robot mower. At myRobotcenter, you can optionally order the installation kit (size M) on top.

What sets the Automower 315 apart from the Husqvarna Automower 315X?
The Husqvarna 315X has a slightly higher area coverage than the Husqvarna 315 robot lawn mower, namely 1.600m2 instead of 1.500m2. The Model 315X also differs from the 315 model in the design and features of the Husqvarna X Series.

In addition to the indicated prices we charge EUR 10 per order for the delivery and handling, within Europe.
Deliveries in Europe will be made by GLS or a haulage firm (from 31.5 kg) within following International Delivery Times after the order is placed.

I chose the 315x over the 315 because of the connect possibilities for a 500m2 lawn.
Installation is a breeze.
- 1 boundary wire around the lawn and obstacles. (2hrs)
- 1 guide wire from the charging station to the furthest other end of the lawn. (10min)
- placing the charging station and connecting all wires to it. (15min)
- first installation and calibration of the automaker itself. (5min)
After 2 hrs total installation time the mower was already on its maiden run through the high grass.
The mower reaches all parts of the garden and no need to divide the lawn into zones along the guide wire because the gps is doing its work perfectly.
For sure it will not cut the edges of the grass perfectly because it physically can't. The mowing blades are approx 15cm inside of the body work due to safety reasons. So if you can't cross the edges because of a obstacle, wall, ridge, etc... you need to use a trimmer.

So far all good...not perfect...but as good as I had expected.

Hard work to bury the cable which was the chosen method but once completed the mower started working straight away - needing no further configuration in a 100m2 garden with 2 large central beds. Now a few days later the level of the cut is looking great. Instructions slightly lacking on the basics such as pressing 'back' rather than "start" or 'OK' to set the chosen times but otherwise a fantastic and life changing purchase
