The robot lawn mower for large plots: Husqvarna Automower 420

The robotic lawn mower is suitable for use on large lawn areas up to 2.200 m². With its powerful lithium battery, it can manage inclines of up to ±45%, or 24°. The robot lawnmower is therefore the perfect choice for steep and bumpy land. With an acoustic level of only 58 dB, it works very quietly and, in ECO mode, with exceptional energy saving properties.

Optimal navigation through tight spots

The robot mower is able to detect tight spots and narrow corridors, thanks to its automatic passage handling. It adapts its navigation accordingly and traverses narrow passages with particular skill and efficiency. Irregular plots are therefore not a problem for the Husqvarna 420.

Husqvarna Automower 420 with practical remote start function

You can define up to five starting points for the robot lawn mower. This means that the lawn robot also regularly finds remote parts of the garden which could possibly be difficult to reach. The function therefore guarantees even mowing of all areas, including side areas, and thus consistent mowing throughout.

Fully-automatic and intelligent mowing

Optimal lawn care thanks to the weather timer

The Husqvarna 420 is equipped with a weather timer. The function enables it to automatically adapt its mowing frequency to the growth rate of the grass. During dry periods, the robot mower reduces the number of trips and increases them when lots of rain promotes grass growth. Your lawn receives exactly the care it needs.

Robot lawn mower with mulch function

The Husqvarna 420 reliably cuts grass with three sharp rotating blades. The cut height can be electrically set to the desired value between 20 and 60 mm. While mowing, fine lawn clippings are produced which fall to the ground as mulch, thus acting as a natural moisturiser and fertiliser. The lawn grows densely, healthily and in a lush green.

Automatic mowing thanks to time control

The Husqvarna Automower 420 can be controlled and programmed via a large, user-friendly information display. The robot lawn mower reliably and fully automatically follows a defined time schedule, even when it's raining. When the battery power is low, or after completing a task, the robotic lawn mower returns to its charging station to charge up. The lawn robot is provided with a total of four navigation options to quickly and efficiently find its charging station.

An all-round reliable robot lawn mower

Obstacle, lifting and tilt sensors provide the robot mower with a high degree of safety. PIN code and alarm functions make the robotic lawn mower theft- and child-proof.

New: Automower Connect@Home

Through the standard feature Connect@Home module, this Husqvarna 2018 model can be controlled by smartphone via a Bluetooth connection. However, you have to be within immediate vicinity of the mower to use the feature.

For the full usage of the app features (control also on the go, theft alarm and GPS based navigation) the Automower Connect Module can be optionally retrofitted.

The Husqvarna Automower 420 can be optionally equipped with the Automower Connect module. This allows the robot lawn mower to be conveniently monitored and controlled from anywhere via smartphone or tablet.

From September 2018, all Husqvarna Models with the Automower Connect Module will be compatible with Amazon Alexa.

Customisable cover

The robotic lawn mower's housing is removable and can be swapped out. It is possible to individually personalise the robot mower Husqvarna Automower.

Installation and operation

Optional: installation kit at myRobotcenter

The Husqvarna Automower 420 is supplied from the factory without accessories for installing the lawn robot, such as cables, attachment hooks, cable connectors etc. At myRobotcenter, you can optionally order this installation kit (size L)as an extra.

What's new? 2017 model vs 2018 model

Compared to the previous year's model, the Husqvarna Automower 420 has an additional search cable – two in total. This facilitates installation on irregular plots. Also new is the Automower Connect@Home Module for app control via Bluetooth connection.

In addition to the indicated prices we charge EUR 10 per order for the delivery and handling, within Europe.
