3-stage-cleaning-system for bright clean floors
The patented 3-stage-cleaning system combines technology and cleanliness. Dirt and dust is sucked up by the iRobot Roomba 680 and carried into its dirt bin by its brushes, leaving your floors bright and clean.
The dust bin of Roomba 680 is equipped with a special AeroVacTM filter. It absorbs even the finest particles of dust and dirt. To optimise cleaning results, it is important to clean and replace the filter regularly.
Scheduling of the robot vacuum
The iRobot Roomba 680 features scheduling. You can select one starting time for each weekday. The robot hoover then starts automatically at the selected time and cleans the floors as programmed. Once the robot hoover has finished its cycle, it automatically returns to its charging station.
As well as this, the iRobot 680 can be started and stopped using the “CLEAN” button. It will start cleaning as soon as this button is pushed.
iRobot Roomba 680 for an effortless cleaning
Dirt and dust accumulate every day, especially in hard-to-reach areas. So beat the rush with the power of the iRobot 680. Dangerous areas like drops and stairs are recognised on approach so that the iRobot can change way.
Never miss a spot again
The Roomba 680 is equipped with various multiple sound sensors, that detect areas needing a deeper clean (Dirt Detect Technology). This ensures dirt, dust and other particles are removed efficiently.
Roomba 680 cleaning beneath beds and sofas
Thanks to its compact design the iRobot is even able to clean under your furniture (e.g. sofa, cupboard, chairs) thoroughly cleaning the most hard-to-reach areas. With its side-mounted brush, the iRobot 680 guarantees an intensive clean into edges and corners.
Flexible boundary option
There is a Dual Mode Virtual Wall included in the purchase of your iRobot Roomba 680. It can either be used as a virtual boundary, separating a designated area that should not be cleaned, or to build a protection zone (Halo-Mode) to pet food bowls, for example.
iRobot 680 can be used to clean a range of floor types
The robot hoover can be used for cleaning the most varuety of hard floors (parquet, laminate, tiles, etc.) and carpets. iRobot Roomba 680 automatically adjusts its suction power to the type of flooring. For example, on carpets it increases the suction power to help remove dirt and dust effectively.
The iRobot Roomba 680 can also drive over obstacles up to 1,5 cm high, like carpets and doorways.
The Roomba is not suitable for cleaning black carpets or floors. These will be recognised as drops and the robot hoover will avoid them.
When the iRobot 680 detects its battery is running low or when the cleaning cycle is complete, it automatically returns to its charging station. The robot vacuum then charges its battery to be ready for its next use.
The iRobot Roomba with lithium-ion battery
As the only robot vacuum of the iRobot Roomba 600 series, the Roomba 680 is equipped with a lithium-ion battery. A lithium-ion battery is more powerful and durable than the Ni-MH batteries used in other robot vacuums.
Successor of Roomba 651
The Roomba 680 is the successor of Roomba 651. Unlike its predecessor, it boasts a powerful lithium-ion battery and Dual Mode Virtual Wall (boundary option).
